Here is the supplementary book that I am able to refer to when the video is unavailable. The lower portion of each page allows room for significant entries of related content, similar to a journal.

Historical/Contemporary Parallel
So first I think how you changed the layout is nice to see. I can now make connections by them being directly next to each other than rather before it was a bit confusing.
There are still some issues that I have in certain areas of this project. With the Obama and Che images with the halos. Do you think that there might be another symbol to use with Obama and the dollar sign halo? To me I don't feel like this symbolizes Obama right now to all of the design public. (the target audience was us? right?) I feel it is split some feel like Obama is saving us and others feel like he is running us into debt more. I don't have a solution to this but maybe looking into this more you might find the answer.
In the Change images I would like to see the {{ symbols (sorry mind is drawing a blank right now on there name) in the Obama image fit in his face like the che image next to it. I just personally feel that the ones hanging outside of his face look like they are floating and don't really connect to the type.
For the ministry building and the capital building I feel like this one is working now. I can't remember what it looked like last time. I think its still the same. The real problem that I have with this is I wish the plaque or wall that has the obama sculpture up was a little bit more integrated with the background image.
Overall Bryan nice job on your revisions.
The Manifesto
Brian,
I think this is a fresh take on the Manifesto. Personally, I much prefer the book component of your Manifesto than the video. Although the video provides elements of motion and sound, the still images in the book allows me more time to ponder and reflect on your thoughts. The parts that I appreciate in the video are the times when you take advantage of the medium. For example, around the 1:00 mark, you fade into a black screen and the phrases, "away from temporary, away from popular, and away from that without value" appear. That section really makes great use of pacing and timing that can only be achieved through that medium. I would have liked to have seen more of those instances– since through video, you have complete control of when you would like certain things to be revealed the viewer.
What I do appreciate about this manifesto, is that it's written in a poetic tone. Your message is still clear, but not overly blunt. It really gives me a sense of who you are and how you view yourself and your work.
nice craft on the book and the video overall!
Bryan, I'm sorry...I just realized I misspelled your name...I meant to say BrYan.
